Journeys

“Journeys end in lovers meetings” – Shakespeare – who wouldn’t like to have taken one journey with one ending… but I guess only few are lucky enough to have taken the right journey and made the right stop finding their only end they needed in their lives.

But for those who haven’t found the ending to their journeys, don’t despair and enjoy every journey just because at the end each journey you take is just a fantastic adventure, full of different lessons, because every time you begin a new journey, every time you begin to walk a path alone and in the way you end up meeting someone, even if it’s not your ending yet, the love you experience along the way will always end up being an extraordinary experience.

But keep in mind that just as love comes into your life without expecting it, it can also disappear and leave you with that feeling of emptiness inside. It seems like if there were some kind of unwritten rules that apply only to those who haven’t found their final ending. For some quite inexplicably, love just happens to vanish, for others love is simply lost in the way, but in the end they all end up alone, just as they started their journey.

Along their path some may find all kinds of love, even when it’s not the one that will make them stop their journey, at the end is always love, but among all the kinds of love, there is one that we all are afraid to face, the cruellest kind, the one that kills all of its victims, that is of course the unrequited love…the one that I'm sure most of the people who are kindly reading this have had in a moment of their lives.

I've always thought that love stories are always between two people, both in love with each other, both needing one another, but what about those who love, but don’t get love in return? What happened to them? What should they do? I guess embrace the inevitable: move on and carry on with their own path, hoping that one day they’ll find a journey that leads them to their own final ending, because in the end, the only thing that really matters is to give your best and be passionate about all the things you do, because you never know when will your ending will knock on your door!
